Windmills are the trademark of the cosmopolitan “island of the winds”. The Bonis’ Mill is a 16th century stonemansory highlight, owing its name to its last owner, miller George Bonis. Today, it is the focus of the Agricultural Museum (Agrotomousseio) of Mykonos, an outdoor museum, unique in the Aegean region, demonstrating the pre-industrial  method of bread and wine making, two staple goods of the islanders’ everyday life.

A visit to the windmill as well as the unique view from that spot, especially during sunset, will leave you with the best impression.
